Saturday: my favorite day of the week.
Just finished this poster for Paloma’s short film. Not sure when it’s being released yet, but will def post if it goes up online. Saturday is the story of a young rebel who gets in a lot of trouble when he unknowingly steals 100, 000 pesos from a notorious thug. Now he has to make the money back by Friday, or he’s dead by Saturday.

Although we only went to school together for a semester, our love affair…I mean friendship, has stayed strong through the years. Paloma is from Boston, currently lives in Santo Domingo, and is moving to NYC in the fall to begin her career in film & writing. She...

just a quick little sketch of my girl Zooey Deschanel. Kinda been obsessed with her since I saw, 500 Days of Summer…but who hasn’t. I’ve been itching to make new work lately, but I just never seem to have the time. I plan to color her once I get a chance, and mess around with some new patterns and textures, which my friend Liz got me for christmas. Also the book Danny got me has...

So I’ve been at my job for almost two months now, and I must say… I absolutely love it! I could not have found a better match. At Horizon Group USA, I work for the devision called D.G.I (Devrian Global Industries), who are responsible for many of the One Spot items at Target. We create everything from notepads, sticky notes, stationery kits, and plush toys. So all those cute little...

goodbye fall, hello fulltime.
Just finished these pieces for my monthly freelance job for bizme.biz. Also, I started my full-time design job this week! I’ve been soo busy my brain feels like it’s going to explode. I’ve probably learned more about Adobe Illustrator is the past few days, then I have in my entire college career. I’m so excited for all the new things to come and to grow as a designer. <3

fashion is art, art is love, love is real ♥
So lately I’ve been really inspired by all the amazing fashion I see on the streets of Soho while interning in the city. And while I may not be able to afford to buy everything I see, I can still draw it! These sketches I did for the next issue of bizme, were inspired by my new found obsession with nyc fashion.
interning @NYLON
So I thought I’d post a few of the headers I’ve created while interning at NYLON. It’s so exciting creating these graphics for the site, and web design team gives a lot of artistic freedom. Basically they describe the articles to me, let me know where to locate the source images, and the rest is left up to me. Lately my method has been creating the compositions in Photoshop, then dragging it into...
